Old Fashioned Candy Sticks

I am in need of assistance. Now if I were at a tourism infested area I think I could solve my problem easily, but here, not real sure where to go, so maybe you have an idea. I need candy sticks, you know the old fashioned kind like you get at say the Ozark Folk Center, Silver Dollar City, etc. I have an idea for Emily's birthday cake which will be absolutely adorable if all goes as planned but I need light green, light purple, and possibly pink candy sticks. I found where I can order them online, but really 8 would give me extras...no need to buy a hundred sticks! (although I suppose if worse comes to worse, Halloween is only a couple days after her birthday). I also need cookie cutters, large ones (4 inch or so) of a dog (standing, wouldnt a schnauzer be great?), an elephant, a fish, and a horse. All standing (or swimming since fish don't stand) and all close in size. Found where I could buy those too, but not really wanting to pay $13 for four cookie cutters. SO....my dear friends, anyone have cookie cutters I could borrow next month, or know where I could get old fashioned candy sticks? (again, just 8, not 80 or 800). And I do plan on going by hobby lobby to check on the cookie cutters, just had the idea a couple days ago, but you know me, gottta be prepared! Are there any dime stores still in existence that sell the bulk "penny" candy? that would be just the thing I need....whatever happened to Mayberry?

Last time I was at Missouri Town in Blue Springs they had some in the gift shop... but that was probably 4 years ago. Could be worth a phone call. : )

one of blaine's bible school teachers passed out candy sticks to each of them afterwards...not sure if it was jeanie or kay though...and since cameron didn't get one, i just had to eat it myself.lol...but you might check with jeanie maples and see if she knows where to get some...
