Another Shower

This week is one of the busy weeks. Yesterday we spent all day in a childbirth preparation class. Informative, although I must say I wasnt terribly impressed with the instructor. Then today they had a shower for me at church. They did an outdoor theme, complete with a little pink tent, chair, sleeping bag, and instead of cake, we had s'mores. It was kinda neat and they did a survival game where everyone put down how to survive being a parent and then they gave me a backpack full of survival items like diaper rash cream, nursing bra pads, baby nail clippers, a prayer guide. My husband's family was able to attend this one since they couldnt go to the one I'd already had, and there were about 7 people from church. I dont know anyone from church that well, so I was a little nervous about this shower, basically because even the people I know, I dont know well. I think I have been able to identify everyone that I got gifts from, although there are some of them I've barely even talked to! I got a lot of nice things, I always feel bad getting gifts from people I barely know, although I greatly appreciate it. I think I will have to call church tomorrow to get addresses to send thank you cards though, because I definitely don't have those! Other things that will keep me busy this week is they are having a shower for me at work on Wednesday. One thing is for sure, I'll know everyone that gets me a gift there, and I think most everyone has just contributed to go in on a gift together.

Ok, I just hadn't posted in a while and thought I'd post real quick. Nothing else new to report. The puppy did something she wasn't supposed to while we were at church this morning, but we never did figure out what. She just acted VERY guilty....maybe she was about to do something.....

How fun is that to have an outdoor themed shower. I wanted to share with you that I saw Melinda McKeen on tv today for a Spokane News broadcast on places to go in Northern Idaho. She is a WA state Park Ranger at Palouse Falls. She looks the same..it was neat. Ron Hise was also on the same show for Heyburn State Park.
